GRE consists of three test sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Writing

  • Verbal Reasoning includes: Summarizing a paragraph, understanding relationships among words, analyzing and deriving conclusions from passages

  • Quantitative Reasoning includes: Using mathematical formulas to solve problems, understanding of basic mathematical concepts and analysis of quantitative information given

  • Analytical Writing includes: Articulate complex ideas and express them clearly with examples
